Have you ever looked at someones page and wondered “how did they make such cool video graphics?”
Yesterday, I was chatting with some of the members of The Spark Lounge (a group coaching program I am part of) and a question was asked on how to edit videos, I quickly realized that I had a few favorites on my phone and gave some suggestions. Which made me think “there must be more people I know that would find these tips helpful” so here they go:
My three favorite video editing apps (for Iphone and also available on Google Play):
- Inshot App – This seems to be one of the most popular apps for video editing. This app gives you the ability to edit videos and photos. Add stickers, text, music and voice overs and effects. Also great if you are looking to trim your videos, adjust the speed and merge multiple videos all in one place.b If you’ve scrolled through FB or IG recently, you might have noticed TONS of videos that have a meme style format (if you are not quite sure to what I am referring to check out @garyvee IG page as most of his videos use this format). This app works great to achieve the same results! There are three membership price points: monthly for $2.99, yearly $9.99 and a one-time payment of $29.99 for lifetime access. Here is a quick tutorial:
- Legend App – I have no clue how I stumbled upon this app, but I am so happy that I did. This is not an editing app per say (hold on let me explain), but more for creating stunning animations! What I have been doing is creating my intros with this app. The features are a bit basic, as it only allows you to create animations in a square size format and animation styles are available in only 18 colors. Nonetheless, for being a free app you get tons of great benefits.
- eZy Watermark Video Pro App – This app is great for adding watermarks to your videos! Whether that be using a graphic of your logo or drawing your signature out, the app was created to help you trademark your videos. It also allows you do edit any videos you might have already uploaded to Facebook or Instagram (by linking your account). Another feature I love is that the app allows you to combine multiple portrait videos into one. So lets say you recorded a series of IG stories you wanted to merge together, this app gives you the capability to do so with three simple steps!
I hope you take the time to explore this ready to go editing options. If there is an app that you use that can help others edit videos with ease, drop your recommendations in the comment section of this post!
